A Purple Stalking Day

I think the title says it all I was in a very purple mood today, as silly as that sounds. Today went smoothly like all fridays should, and I passed it in a sleepy relaxed state of mind. I finished my project for art III early so that was a nice relief. My taste in finding good books to read has been lacking lately, but I think I've managed to finally pick out two good ones: How to Kill A Mockingbird, and To The Lighthouse by Virginia Woolfe. So far im actually in raptures for to Kill A Mockingbird I had heard so many bad things about it that it was boring and such but I've found no such thing its been quite interesting. I actually had one of the girls in my class and an interperter Amy that it was there favorite book and insisted that I read it, because I refused in the begining. As for To The Lighthouse it is a very different story, I find it DULL DULL DULL and I think the only reason Im trying to read it is because its Virginia Woolfe and I know shes supposed to be wonderful, but I just dont see it.Im going to read on more and try to finish it because I do find the storyline really nice its just her dry limp writting that causes me distress.

The Applician Feastiville was really enjoyable and it seemed everyone there that I interacted with smiled opon me and did somthing kind for me. First I got a free ticket from the man working the ticket stand. And than later I went searching for this one booth that I went to last year where they sell all kinds of knee high socks (and since im so obsessed with them) I was planning on buying some pairs. But the selection was a bit dissapointing because almost all were striped, and after never wanting to wear my other striped socks out in public I vowed to get no more stripys. So I finally decided on a nice hunter green and light egg shell green ( greens my favorite color if you cant tell). Well when I went to pay I told him I loved his socks and I bought some last year and he said since I bought some last year he would take off two dollars which I thought was quite nice. Than to make things even better I ran across a booth with Brooke where it was all knitting. The lady was extremly nice and we discussed yarn and knitting problems I have. And she was selling some adorable little lacy hats (like I've been wanting) so I had to buy one of course. You cant tell all that much about it from the picture but its actually crochet (Iwant to learn so bad) and a nice cream color, but I've kinda had second thoughts on the cream because it blends in with my hair but Brooke insisted it would match more of my clothing. The only semi bad thinkg that happened today was it was so stormy some of the booths closed early. Now I didnt mind the stormy clouds at all it made things nice and cool and I always love storms, but I didnt apprciate the booths closing early for a storm that never came. Either way it was still a wonderful day and im feeeling just peachy!
