The Art Show

The art show went smoothly as planned. Unfortntly not a large crowd turned up, but I did have the support of my family and friends. My Aunt,Uncle, Little Cousin, and Grandmother all came to view my art work and I think it gave them an idea of how much I had improved over the years. And my two best friends came also Zach and Brooke, who I have known since kindergarten and more or less been my best friends ever since. Alot of people payed me some really nice compliments on my artwork and I was really greatful for that. I should have some pictures to share with you soon, but first I have to finish using the film since I didnt have a digital camera. As soon as I get them developed I will be sure to share them with you.

The rest of the weekend I plan on relaxing because I think I deserve it. I did some water color painting also (will upload pictures)and some reading. So thats it for me this weekend... oh and some babysitting tomorrow morning. So for now thats all.

A Very Very Long Day

I just got home from an excessivily long day setting up my art work and many other students (that choose not to come and help)for my schools annual art show and it was very tidious work indeed. I can say no good things about it, and I will be very happy to have it over with by tomorrow. It has stressed me out so very much that I dont even look forward to the rewarding part of tomorrow. I wont be able to post about it tomorrow night after the art show though Im spending the night with my best friend Brooke. But I promise to give a full account of the evenings activities saturday though Im sure I will be quite tired.

On a better note, I have some of those pictures from my day down town during spring break. Sorry to have waited so long to post these like I said thing have been a mess and I have been so tired.

Long Time no See

Sorry I've managed to become none exsistant in blogging, things have been very crazy around my house. One good thing though is the daffodils are out and I took a little trip to visit them after school today.

I havent been doing much knitting at least not this past weekend. I spent most if not all of my weekend working on some of my art work for the art show that is this friday. (Im sure I will have plenty of pictures to show) I managed to finish a new piece though...well I posted a picture but it manged to place it at the top of the post oh well..... I did manage to catch the school play of The Wizard of Oz, it was quite lovely and i enjoyed spending time with my two great friends Brookehttp://poetiquette413.blogspot.com/( heres her blog) and Joey.

I will up date more later this week (inscluding actual knitting).

Sense And Sensiblity

I am loving the masterpeice theatres Jane Austen series. And cant wait for the second part of Sense and Sensiblity to be on tonight. Here lately I've been into alot of the youtube music videos that have to so with the Austen novels, and I have a new favorite. Here is the link to it, I love the depiction of Marieanne and Colonel Brandons relationship. Oh well i had trouble getting a link to it so I'll post it another time. I really suggest watching some of the videos there marvelous.

A Nice Weekend

Well I had a very nice weekend I took a trip to the art museum and saw the Rembrandt exhibition. And I have to admit I was very disappointed in it, the exhibition was made up of only six paintings and a few sketches. Afterwards we went to the conservatory and I took some lovely photos, but im sad to say I used my sidekick and it didnt send them to my email like normal so I have no pictures to post from that right now. I do have some pictures of the Mt.Adams area which I am madly in love with. We also visited a park down in that area but unfortintly those photos also didnt show up on my email either.

Today I took a trip to a sculpture park and enjoyed it very much but am very tired. So thats it for now.
